The location is unbeatable, just a two-minute walk from the train station. The room was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with tea and coffee facilities. Each morning, we savored the generous breakfast, which certainly set us up for our adventures in the Lake District.

The location was excellant and lovely and the train station was minute walk from the hotel. There were a built in wardrobe, clean white sheets, and a small refrigerator in the room, truly enjoyed that.

The floor in our room could have used a thorough vacuum. It looked as if it hadn't been cleaned properly for some time.

The stay was great for our family trip to explore Lake Windermere and nearby attractions like the World of Beatrix Potter. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of our Budget Twin Room, and the clean facilities made everything comfortable. The kids particularly loved the complimentary teas and coffee available. Plus, the location was super convenient, just a short walk from the train station and close to several shops and galleries.

Really good hospitality from Paula and Graham. The location in central Windermere couldn't be better. Just a two-minute walk from the train station. The room looked clean and inviting. Loved the cozy atmosphere and the comfortable bedding. Paula sent a warm greeting letter and promptly answered all my queries before arriving. I appreciated the delicious breakfast each morning, especially the hot English breakfast. My only issue was the weak water pressure in the shower. Although it was quite functional, a stronger shower would have been ideal. No dedicated parking was available, but I found free parking nearby without any hassle. I would definitely visit again for the wonderful service and cozy ambiance.
